I will be
presenting CoSy at
Speakers § Presentations § Schedule § Me Timezone: Asia/Kolkata (IST) UTC+5:30 My Talk : Fri.Mar,20220325 , 1900 IST , 0730 MDT I've made a video of how I edit , process & upload my running blog . I'm
addicted to news more than to any physical substance . I spend far too
much of my day on reading and commenting on current news feeds and a
FaceBook programming and " climate change " groups . So , both to have
a personal record of my comments and interesting links across platforms
, and towards centralizing and publishing my own timeless wisdom😏 , I keep a blog in CoSy of links and thoughts . It takes only a few seconds to copy and paste links and comments from wherever into my CoSy Job which is now published at CoSy.com/y22/Blog60days as well as included in on my homepage and my more formal BlogPosts .
I've made a video of the process which ended up including related matters of resizing CoSy window parameters and ` activating the links , and also each date for reference , ie: adding the necessary html
. The original point was to show the simplicity of stripping the
tracking info following copied URLs . But I believe it demos how
succinct CoSy language is for a great deal of text dicing and splicing . The vid is cruder than I wish because it took longer to find useful tools for the simple editing I needed to do . Note that the video is hosted directly on my rather vanilla web host , but seems to stream ok . It's a step towards the goal of offering sovereign CoSy webspaces programmable in CoSy the language , as an alternative to the Big Tech sites which have shown themselves to be controlled by arrogant Stupids . A core notion of CoSy is that one cannot control one's computing resources except thru language . And the language must be at a high enough everyday practical level for use by ordinary people . I welcome feedback on any aspect . Bob@CoSy.com
