But where the real division is boils down to the denial by omission of Newton's more than 330 year old universal Law of Gravity which applies to molecules as well as satellites . Gravity acting on the mass of the atmosphere , nothing to do with spectrum , quantitatively explains the adiabatic ( ie: constant total energy ) ` lapse gradient . At this point , even some of the well known among realists , have been entrapped by the Hansen GHG paradigm , aka: box , even tho it is uniquely lacking fundamental testable equations .

Only recognizing the universal tradeoff of gravitational kinetic ( thermal ) energy can energy balance equations even be written -- because gravity computes as a negative . It must be accounted for if you believe in Conservation of Energy .

While more difficult all this can be calculated and demonstrated . We are in a war with destructive determined dishonest irrationality . We , must reestablish a solid experimentally verifiable quantitative theoretical foundation . As long as there is any doubt that no spectral filtering can trap a kinetic energy gradient , and the ~ 33K gradient between the planet's even crudely calculated radiative equilibrium ( ~ 400k in the case of Venus ) the eKoFascists destroying human prosperity and vast swaths of the ecosystem cannot be quashed . I do hope Heartland addresses these issues at it's upcoming ICCC14 . The uniquely equationless spectral GHG paradigm is disprovable quantitatively and absolutely at a talented highschool and undergraduate level .
