Midterm goal : Sovereign CoSy Webspaces

A personal secure directory , programmable by you ( with the CoSy community available to trade code & insights ) in CoSy the language .
Including a Website , with email , capable of video , with CoSy available like eg: PHP as a resource .

Recent interactions have made me realize the potential for a
CoSy Box , initially Wintel minibox w CoSy preloaded & configured , and a wireless keyboard . It's assumed one has a WiFi or HDMI connected screen .
This harkens back to the original APL CoSy in the mid `80s which were generally sold bundled on a KayPro 2000 laptop . There are lots of advantages to having a known platform .

Short term : Other heads into CoSy , a fresh & most powerful paradigm in personal computer interaction .

A task to align those heads . ( We may have that . )

would accomplish a lot ,  I really want to get the interface off
of IUP so I only have to
deal with my own bugs , and am on the fast path to offering CoSy as a web
service .

The shortest path from the chip to the math

Got together with my friend Karthik Krishna , who is forming KKrish Energy LLC , ( the highest value use for CoSy is facilitating one's own business ) to show the enormous simplicity and ` power of Hello World in CoSy versus Python . Found that on his machine , we really did need to go thru the procedure at http://cosy.com/4thCoSy/DownLoad&start.txt to create and ` except a directory from virus checking in which to extract http://cosy.com/4thCoSy/CoSy.zip into .

The exercise revealed problems on his laptop screed caused by having saved the most recent distribution copy from my 4K display w/o thinking about adjusting the screen parameters to fit .
First thought on starting up was that the IUP GUI was failing in some way .
Then noticed an oversized instance just peaking out at the very right edge of the screen . So pulled it over onto the screen . Then I intervened to adjust the parameters in the ` script0 final script loaded on startup and is distinctly beyond the Hello World intro .

I'll upload a new CoSy.csy with more normal small screen parameters later today .

And I plan to redo the Hello World demo to include the excepting of the CoSy directory , downloading & extracting , and skipping the demo of raw Forth shiftF6 execution before going straight to s" Hello World " at the CoSy APL level where a normal person lives . ( KK has about a 15 second span before the onset of eye glaze )

Of all the bolshevik racist insanities being foisted these days , I'll just link the Insanity in Evanston because that is where I was born and spent my first half decade and effectively from 1967 til 1979 at Northwestern U .
It's an affluent suburb . I can't even think of any rundown neighborhood anywhere in the city .

The idea of taking money from some by Force of State to hand to others who bear no or historic relationship with each other is the act of a mafia whose only real winners are the apparatchik skimming the vig for the distribution to those with the low esteem to accept it .

I offer CoSy as a personal service , with a retainer/subscription . But , of course any serious potential client/partner must find CoSy understandable and usable as is . Thus a free intro Zoom to work thru any issues of getting CoSy up on your machine and assist you working thru some of the basics and discuss future priorities .
