Unlike all other APLs which are written in C , CoSy on GitHub is in a free and open to the chip (x86) Forth . Sam presents some of the most essential concepts in the Forth code building CoSy from a perspective I never could . This open single environment all the way from the APL abstractions to the language of current or future chips gives CoSy flexibilities no other APL can match . And it's barely reaching puberty .

description of this insantity worthy of tweeting to my friend Jim Bovard and attacking the issue of getting at least my wasted $780 back from somebody .
- I'm honored : To have been able to , despite the EuroForth debacle , get out to Silicon Valley Forth Day at Stanford to give a presentation on The everyday practical use of CoSy and see Chuck Moore , by far the greatest computing language paradigm creator to have not yet won a Turing .

#GravityThis NewsLetter started as a follow up on the notion of co-authoring an article consolidating the most basic quantitative physics following from the simple observation , as I currently put it at http://cosy.com/#PlanetaryPhysics :
The GHG paradigm , excluding the Law of Gravity in violation even of conservation of energy , being false , has thus never presented a testable equation quantifying their asserted spectral "trapping" nor an experimental demonstration of it . |
I do feel the analysis needs to start with everybody's undeniable experience of simply throwing a ball in the air and make the quantitative derivation of atmospheric pressure , ie: fundamentally { mass temperature * } to put it in 4th.CoSy reverse Polish . I believe there are a number of papers with graphs which "take it from there" and show the pressure temperature tradeoff across all planets , whatever their atmospheres .
It's interesting that gravity can be considered a per-unit-mass force so its tradeoff with velocity is strictly a function of distance . I have no idea what molecular mosh pit distances are .
At the radiative "boundary" I look forward to connecting with my computation of radiative equilibrium for arbitrary spectra . Combined with an understanding of the Schwarzschild equation we should have a complete expression for the differential in a voxel for mapping over the entire planetary spherical shell -- which is rather trivial in an APL like CoSy .
This will motivate a lot of development of CoSy for a lot of applied physics . The CoSy structures for such things as array multiplication are somewhat permuted from traditional notation .

#LIFE2018 has brought relative normalcy after considerable chaos in the final years of my retarded older brother Jack whose damaged brain has been a major influence on the course of my life .
One bit of insanity which ended was , at 72 and as my old Culver climbing buddy Gary Neptune immediately said : being a gimp since shattering my left leg in a climbing accident in 1972 , facing charges of assaulting an objectively irrational 35 year old tenant at what would have been CoSy MidSummer Mountain Mela 2017 . It took the entire year defending myself pro se to reach the point of facing my accuser in front of a jury of 12 Teller County peers before , at the pre-trial hearing , the case was dismissed -- he would not face me and my 67 year old witness . I almost feel sorry that I never had the chance to deliver my praise of the 6th Amendment . These days the right to defend one's self is as important to exercise as the right to a lawyer . The egregious waste of Teller County and state moneys on the at least half dozen appearances at the overbooked Cripple Creek court -- with evasion of all opportunities for rational discussion , is a reason why I will be working for any alternative to reelecting Dan May , our Teller & El Paso DA . What a waste .
#HeidiJo In June I got an email from a friend from 2008 Ron Paul MeetUp days , HeidiJo Toilion . She was moving back to Colorado from Iowa and looking for a place to stay . I immediately said she could come here and take over the position of property manager .
I have rented the small cabin on the property which Jack lived in for a number of years . The first couple was a delight and did some needed fix ups . The second tenant was the nut described above . The most recent turned out to be a pair of deadbeats . And I really don't have time for this crap . Despite how beautiful this place is , I was contemplating just cashing it out and more or less wandering the world . It's just silly for a single old guy .
But Heidi immediately added much needed yin -- which apparently entails a great deal of paint -- to the place . Got tenants with a toddler paying a more market rate in the cabin , even got a couple into the li'l Barn , which has no plumbing ( picture from 2011 below ) , who've done great job fixing it up and insulating and even moving in our big old wood stove which keeps the place toasty and clears up some of our deadfall in the process . We've set the place up as WPBnB for the summer .
And we've even cleaned out Jack's old bedroom as a guest room where Karthik Krishna is staying until he returns to India in a couple of weeks .
So the place is buzzing with life and great deal of fixing up going on . It's heading towards use as the CoSy ashram . Perhaps before CoSy MidSummer Mountain Mela 2019 we might have the first CoSy coding camp for those interested in a working vacation at the front edge of computing language in the Front Range .
