I'm kind of a computer monk . But I like parties . I like giving parties . Generally just one , annual .
Also , partly because I've
always followed my own path at an edge of the APL community , wrapping
up APL international conferences in Manhattan , Toronto + , and , especially Rome .
Parties tend to intensify life . They are memorable . And they are a motivation to clean up the place
While I started giving annual MidWinter parties in Rochester NY
, it really was only in Manhattan that they became a thing some people
considered there event of the year , and at least one couple who met

The concentrated silent hours required to create computing language are in their own way intense . And I think by anybody's measure , I've lived an intense life . Altho there is nothing unique about that .
It quickly became clear that MidWinter parties don't work
out here in the Colorado Front Range . So now they are MidSummer . They
tend to be just a few friends . But always plenty of food ( smoked ribs
, etc ) and drink on hand .
But they are not without their drama . See MidSummer 2017 Ruined by Tenant
. It took a year to have it reach a jury of Teller County peers , at
which point my accuser dropped it , would not face our peers .
This year , I've had to just evict a satanist family who have done
useful work here , but also caused substantial destruction . And
yesterday assaulted me . See email to Teller Sheriff's below .
So , the weeds won't be whacked out front this year . And it may change
whether you choose to come or not . I do hope some who value the rights
to property and self defense do make it .
For those of you scattered around the globe , if nothing else , this is a slice of American life .

The mail system parsed the address wrong when I wrote this last
night , but I didn't get notice of it's failure .

they went into my personal bathroom cutting her power about a week
ago then sending her a rather insane message below claiming it was
due to overloading .
It's hard to be more clear cut than cut wires .
These people , while they have over the years done useful work in
return for 0 rent , have shown themselves to be the dangerous
delusional criminals which caused them to be living in a trailer
in the national forest before being offered space for their

I woke up and my lip and teeth are hurting more than I expected --
but not severely enough to worry about .
I wish I had realized the simple proof that Tony Poland was
the assailant in the altercation youall investigated here Tuesday
afternoon .
I pulled out my phone to record his increasingly violent
aggressive behavior and he knocked the my phone out of my
hands and onto the cement floor . Clearly my weapon was
going to be simply recording his fit . In fact I could not attack
him with a phone in my hands .
But his first action was to disarm me of my only real defense .
And that is why there is no visual record .
It should be no surprise that he is a skilled liar .
And I find now that the camera is broken . Very hazy pictures .
So now I feel more defenseless .
Did you check for records on Antonio Poland both here and in
Florida where they are from , and I know their older son has been
incarcerated for cocaine .
In any case , you have left a violent avowed satanist here . And
bottom line , I'm scared . I'm in good shape for a 76 year old
man , but my bloody nose and banged mouth show I am no match for
him at 51 , even trying to protect myself with my cane which he
rather easily took from me .
I did go to the website and signed up for house watch . But
that's little comfort .
These people have shown themselves to be truly dangerous .
