Ms Reed ,I am working on organizing exhibits . I picked up the additional discovery disks Friday and also met with Lori McLeod to further understand both general and local court procedures and rules . Among the discovery is Matt Walker's Victim Impact Statement : http://cosy.com/y17/Insanity/y18/eDisco-D0602017CR000178-2018-01-29-03/VIS.pdf . I first focused on his claim that I demanded he move out immediately . Here's the actual email notice I sent him , http://cosy.com/y17/Insanity/Termination%20of%20lease.html :
That is the ONLY and LAST communication I had with him . It specifies the end of the month . Thus his statement is one more lie or delusion you will have to explain . Whether he moved out before that , I don't even know . Certainly his vehicles were around for most of the month . But as I look at the totality of his statement it is grossly delusional . Altho my bachelor's and masters from Northwestern are in psychology , they were in psychophysics , specifically visual perception . However , the core curriculum included the more typically thought of "abnormal" , etc . I'm loath to use such terms , but "paranoid" is hard to ignore . It's likely a factor in his overwrought reaction to some smoke which blew over slightly earlier when we were calmly having a friendly chat before Colin James arrived and declined Matt's vape and questioned some aspects of his marijuana zealotry . I don't know what Matt said to the fire department which caused them to send out fire trucks , I hadn't remembered they were still there when Mr James arrived , but they also returned later to add to the chaos of the afternoon . In any case , you will not find a single individual who will support Matt's paranoid description of me . And that includes my neighbors and the members of the Teller County Republican party , including Dan . And many others like Cynthia Coffman . In my closing , I will probably submit just one , from my previous tenants who kindly sent me a Christmas Card to which I thanked them by email and mentioned this debacle .
I consider the District Attorney to have as their highest responsibility , unlike either defense attorneys or attorneys in civil cases , to justice , not simply collecting scalps . As an old Northwestern friend , Ken Flaxman , said when I asked him if he won his cases : "I win the ones I should." I have quite disappointed that seeking justice seems to have been far from the priority in this case as evidenced by your evasion of all opportunities and efforts to get together and discuss this incredibly costly to both myself and the tax payers - debacle remains the best term I can think of . Pulling together the email and CoSy diary entries documenting this -- I really can't see it as anything other than evasion -- into an exhibit , probably to be presented in my opening , is one of my tasks to complete my Monday . As always Peace thru Freedom
Honesty enforced thru Transparency , Bob A --
