I was interested in the ping pong ball experiment but it is lacking one thing to demonstrate your point.
1) day/light. - the black ball heated fastest.
2) night/darkness - the black ball should cool fastest.
3) The end result should be averaged over night and day is that the color of the ball does not change the temperature.

My understanding is that the net result of co2 affecting global warming is that if the earth's surface heats then the atmosphere does the opposinte.  The net result is no change in the effective temperature of the earth.
