Suggested arrival time is 11:30am, when the studio doors open (show time
 is 1pm). The address is 221 West 26th St., between 7th and 8th Avenues.

 Lij ( an Ethiopian name ) who certainly dealt with his part of the procedure
 straight up , said they give out about 400 tickets for a fraction of that
 number of seats . I told him I had interpreted the emails I had received
 more like the instructions to get to the airport 2 hours before a flight
 when I`ve almost always found 40 minutes to be sufficient - and a far more
 efficient use of my time  . Lij offered tickets either for a 4pm taping ,
 or the next day . I believe the maxim  the more mistakes you can
 make per unit time  the better  , and figured I`d spent my time for
 this one already - so declined a rain check . Instead I`m filling in the
 form on Queen`s site offering my self as a guest .
 I asked Lij why so much time was required for ticket holders and he said its
 to protect themselves against no-shows . He does feel the procedures could
 be tightened up to reduce the uncertainty more efficiently in time .
 This is , in a sense , an issue of customer service , and certainly can be
 improved . I`m not sure if it`s an issue of the studio managers or the Queen
 Latifah show itself . As is stands , it is all too similar to various
 methods common to some night clubs
