Hello  Bob Armstrong,

I found your website from the talkpages in Wikipedia. I have been convinced for some time that the science behind the AGW scare is quite mistaken. What relly got me going about a year ago were these two links :
http://www.geocities.com/atmosco2/atmos.htm   http://www.geocities.com/atmosco2/backrad.htm  They are by a German guy but are available in both languages (he has written a third but I don't have the link handy.

His paper shows that the claimed discrepancy in temperature between measured and radiation balnce is explained by gravitational compression of the atmosphere. He makes no attempt to question the "radiative balance" temperature but the figures he produces the effect of gravity are probably very good, I have gone a bit deeper and feel quite secure with them.

Right now I'm looking at the radiation matter. I first came accross this when designing spacecraft, they have to have good thermal control. It is essential to be able to predict the temperature of sensitive parts (most parts!) of the craft throughout the mission. The Earth/planet situation is a bit different but should not be too bad.

Regards
