 I find it interesting that in this PC age when queers have
 made "queer" a catch title word for TV shows I don't watch ,
 highschool kids have adopted "gay" as a term of derision for
 anything they consider lame or uncool .

 I first heard it from my niece and her friends out in Colorado
 over Christmas but have since heard it used by youth at least
 twice around here .

Incidentally , altho it messes my mind to imagine what I would
feel if my mother had so little ability to deal with members of
my sex that she got herself impregnated with some anonymous
sperm in some ritual with another woman , my friend's sister's
boys , who are only just reaching puberty , seemed all in all
pretty normal , tho definitely enjoying the rare presence of a
couple of men , when I met them at Thanksgiving a couple of
years ago .
 
My "nephew" raised from infancy to teen by my sister and his
father after his mother ran off with another woman , but who
later claimed custody during his teen years when his father
was in federal prison for marihuana manufacture , seems to be
leading an unremarkable married life , more stable than his
upbringing .
