Tomorrow , whose showed not only funny but= prescient comics he did back during Bush pere , had one strip on social= security showing fat cat capitalists gloating that SS money was better spent on their own pate and Dom Perignon . He got a big laugh= saying now this was the real Libertarian message . After the performances , which included one guy who , after a= video montage of banal news anchors , poked a needle in his arm and= dripped blood over a sheet of glass which he then karate chopped , I= sought out Tomorrow and thanked him for at least mentioning= Libertarians to such a large crowd . It indicated we were making it onto= people's radar . But , of course , I said his perception was shallow .= He said the perception on the web is just that LPers are= Republicans who want to smoke pot . Hentoff discussed more generalizable and constitutionally= serious cases of the Bush executive overriding of habeas corpus , and in= fact all civil court procedure in the cases of Yaser Esam Hamdi and Jose Padilla .
