Certainly a couple of justices , particularly Scalia , hammered the Solicitor General's people with it , but he was against Buckley the first time around . It was clear that the RCR lawyers should have had a slot to present their arguments which are far stronger that some of McConnell's clique. ( Smarmy Ken Starr was not the worst . ) I have resumed posting to my http://cosy.com/current.htm , which has been my "blog" since 1997 , as part of restructuring http://cosy.com to start making money . Some notes on the listening to the four hours of arguments , and a link to the C-SPAN audio are at http://cosy.com/home.htm#20030911 . I found it interesting that Thomas never says a word . -- On Tue, 16 Sep 2003 20:15:03 -0400, Blay Tarnoff wrote: >=A0This is such good news I had to share it. > >=A0This comes from Real Campaign Reform, which represents one= group of >=A0plaintiffs trying to get the BCRA, the latest campaign finance= reform >=A0act, overturned. --=A0 =A0Bob Armstrong -- http://CoSy.com -- 212-285-1864 Return our Right to Relax : =A0http://ny.lp.org/cgi-bin/petition.cgi?Against_the_Smoking_Ban Computing Environment : =A0http://CoSy/CoSy/ A WTC vision : http://CoSy.com/CoSy/ConicAllConnect/ Liberty : http://CoSy.com/Liberty.htm =A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A02003/09/17 9:37:38 AM
