 Gary , I don't find your response helpful .

 While it is true that Leshaun appears to have not "gotten" the
 essential aspect that libertarianism is NOT license but in fact
 absolutely recognizes the existence of collective redress of 
 trespasses of one citizen upon another , many of the threads on
 this group tend to obscure that necessary notion .

 I wish I had time to respond to his points , but hardly have=
 time for
 this . I would suggest that Leshaun keep his mind open because=
 many 
 of his points are as much canards as many he cites .

 One thing I would be personally interested in hearing tho , is=
 his
 personal , not second hand , knowledge of destructive effects of=
 drug
 use .  It is clear that there are many people - athletes ,=
 actors - who
 do handle various drugs without violence against others . 
 But , of course , the libertarian point is that the drugs are no=
 excuse
 for bad behavior , and it is proper and sufficient to sanction=
 and
 punish the behavior itself .
