 Bloody good point Jim .

 C-SPAN is the only American news source I respect . The GE owned=
 
 channels come next . I get my print news largely from
 http://www.news.google.com/ choosing Reuters or Xinhua
 or Al-Jazeera or Straits Times , generally anybody but US=
 sources .
 The Iranian  http://www.mehrnews.com/en/ is quite good .

 On TV , I often watch the BBC wrap up and sometimes catch
 Deutsche Welt . For years I watched Eye on Asia every Saturday
 morning , but they seem to have expired . Namaste America has
 a news segment but I don't know its schedule in the middle of
 all their Bollywood stuff .

 Amy Goodman's "Democracy Now" often contains useful information
 tho tends toward the Statist fringe .

 And , of course , one reason I was so certain that I could take
 Ron's money on his acceptance of Bush's lies about WMD is that
 when something important is going on , I get UN tv on 
 undocumented channel 78 .
