 This is a non-sequitur . It is quite rational and orthogonal to
 libertarian principles to set restrictions on the what audience
 members are allowed to carry into a meeting .

 Also a non-sequitur . The State of the Union is delivered=
 inside
 government buildings , not out on the street . I too was=
 bothered
 by Badnarik's proposal in his generally great interview . It=
 sounds
 a lot like the vision of the dictator of a banana republic . He=
 needs
 to add the explanation that the reason why his carrying a=
 personal
 weapon was just a symbolic redundancy was that he was=
 surrounded
 by armed bodyguards which , of course , is not the case for the
 ordinary citizen in ordinary circumstances .


 Generally , I am coming to appreciate that Badnarik is a very=
 strong
 candidate who will blow away Bush and Kerry if we can force them=
 to
 face him .
