Subject: Re: media capital, and will not be ignored Re: Badnarik to Manhattan? Date: Wed, 02 Jun 2004 16:00:15 -0400 To: Thomas Ruks , From: Ed Nash Re: media capital, and will not be ignored Re: Badnarik to= Manhattan? 1) If we have to sell Badnarik and national= on NY emphasis,  use this --
In uncontested states like New York votes for either Kerry or= Bush are wasted —will have no effect on t he outcome.=  But Libertarian votes can send a message to whomever is= elected that our viewpoint should not be ignored. We have the= one national candididate that is NOT ignoring NY voters!=  He can do the same in California and other non-swing= states.

2) One vote here against having Badnarik here during the Repub= meeting. He will either be lost and unimportant compared to the= screaming protestors, or identified with them. Neither helps us.=

3) We should work to get guest lectures on NYC campuses. Good= forum for an academic. Good audience for the future of our= party.  It’s time we brought the college groups into= our efforts.
