 I am gratified by the emergence of interest in a second annual
 ( always a much higher accomplishment than a first annual )
 presence in the Coney Island Mermaid Parade .

 I continue to believe fun parades are one of our greatest 
 inexpensive opportunities for outreach and none is more in
 the libertarian spirit than the Mermaid Parade .

 I'm all for it .  It would also be a great place for an
 OPH booth on the boardwalk following the parade .

 I have taken the liberty of collecting everyone who has
 expressed interest into a cc list on this email . Thus
 those interested can keep in touch simply by using their
 "reply all" button .

 If we get a quorum ( only a couple more needed ) let's
 make it happen .

 On the theory that a coin coming up tails a second time
 is less likely , I predict no cloudburst this year .

 What should be our theme ?
 I'm not all that hot on pushing the legalized red light
 issue generally , but that is perhaps the venue to 
 present it . It is very revealing that in this age of
 acceptance of any form of non-procreative sex between
 adults , only capitalistic , free market sex remains
 criminalized .
