 John Lott's "More Guns Less Crime" shows that the greatest
 positive effect of concealed carry laws is precisely on the
 crazed mass killer sort of event like Columbine , Ferguson 
 or the Lubby's restaurant killing in Texas some years ago .

 Lott points out that this makes sense on a straight forward
 probabilistic basis .
